About Me

From modest beginnings, we've grown through unwavering dedication and a commitment to continuous improvement. Each step has reinforced our core belief in the power of collaboration and the importance of integrity. We're passionate about what we do, and we're excited to share our story with you.

My Journey

I was born in Taiwan and spent much of my life deeply involved in music, studying piano and cello for over ten years. This experience taught me discipline, patience, and long-term focus—skills that have carried into my academic and engineering work. I moved to Kelowna in Grade 10, where I adapted to a new environment, built new relationships, and graduated high school with strong academics before entering UBC Okanagan.

My Driving Source

My interest in civil engineering is also personal. My grandfather worked closely in the field, and he was someone I deeply admired. His passing in 2024 strengthened my curiosity about the profession and the role engineers play in shaping communities and infrastructure. Mechanical engineering also interests me due to its versatility and alignment with my problem-solving mindset

I chose engineering because I’ve always been driven to challenge myself academically. Growing up in Asia prepared me for demanding workloads, and I have always believed that pushing yourself is the most direct path to growth. Engineering provides the structure, challenge, and opportunity I aspire to.

As I continue developing my skills, I hope to pursue work that blends technical problem-solving with practical outcomes—creating solutions that are both functional and impactful.
